Married & Loving It - April 22, 2007
The wedding went off without too many hitches, on April 13 (a Friday). I was still somewhat ill, but we didn't let that stop anything. After one trip to the hospital, what would another one be? As Paul likes to say, Friday the 13th did catch up to us. One of our friends was hit by (probably) a drunk on her way away from the church. Our friends decorated our car so beautifully. There are pictures in the wedding section.
All in all, the wedding was a good time, even though the memory is already starting to fade. Stepping on the hem of my dress on the steps of the church seems far less horrifying than it did when it happened. Seeing my best girl friend tear up at the toast doesn't make me want to cry too, it makes me smile. And almost laughing at the "in sickness and in health" part is a good memory to hang onto for later. I'll probably write up the whole day later, in chronological order, to compensate for my still-sieve-like memory. I swear, weddings suck the life right out of you. Gets you ready for marriage, I guess...
